Welcome to Geschwornergården, a restaurant to add delicious taste to your World Heritage site visit. From rich-tasting, fresh, raw products Kokkonsten serves you with gourmet-class dishes, elegantly presented on warmed plates. You can choose from a menu of meat, fish and vegetarian main courses, soups and salad dishes.
Sit in comfort on the decked veranda or in the stylishly designed dining room with old mine photographs on the walls.
Gjuthuset Café & Shop
When you go inside this historic foundry building, Gjuthuset, you encounter old-fashioned interior design, hand-printed wallpaper and, in winter, a crackling fire in the stove.
You’re first struck by the aromas – everything is baked fresh here at the café. You can choose between coffee-break snacks and lighter lunches of delicious sandwiches and soups.
In summer, there is outdoor seating with a view out over the Great Pit.

P-za
P-za, or pizza as they pronounce themselves, opened with an idea to give Falun nice pizza. Nothing more, nothing less.
In the beginning they were held up in a rebuilt garage in a industrial area in Falun. In January 2021 they opened their restaurant in newly renovated premises just next to the Great Pit at Falun Mine.
Take aim at the tall concrete shaft head at the upper side of the pit or follow the scent of freshly baked pizza. Seats are available both inside and outside with a wonderful view over the mine and the city.
