Yes it is. Wear shoes that can handle a wet and dirty climate. Rain cape and helmets are available on site.
How many steps do you walk during a visit in the mine?
It is about 400 steps when you take the stairs down and the elevator up as you do when you visit the mine.

It is also possible to buy a ticket for the mining tour and to the museum on site with us, but if you want to be guaranteed a place on a mining tour, we recommend that you buy in advance. You must be three years old to go down the mine. There is no upper age limit, but there are many steps so it is important that you have the strength to walk.
Are pets allowed down into the mine?
No, no pets are allowed down into the mine.
