What temperature is it in the mine?

Down in the mine it is always around six degrees celsius.

Is it wet in the mine?

Yes it is. Wear shoes that can handle a wet and dirty climate. Rain cape and helmets are available on site.

How many steps do you walk during a visit in the mine?

It is about 400 steps when you take the stairs down and the elevator up as you do when you visit the mine.

How much is a ticket?

You can find current prices on our ticket page or in our booking system. For specific events or during school holidays, prices may change, but you will always see the price before you buy your ticket in our booking system.

How do I purchase a ticket?

The easiest way is to buy the ticket here on the web. It is also possible to buy a ticket for the mining tour and to the museum on site with us, but if you want to be guaranteed a place on a mining tour, we recommend that you buy in advance. If you want to make a group booking or book a conference, please contact us.

Is the Mine museum included in the ticket?

If the museum is open, it is always included in your ticket. You can also read what is included when you book your ticket.

Is there an age limit to visit the mine?

You must be three years old to go down the mine. There is no upper age limit, but there are many steps so it is important that you have the strength to walk.

Are pets allowed down into the mine?

No, no pets are allowed down into the mine.

Is the mine visit accessible?
